This morning I brought the damaged Nikkor to the Nikon Service.
Nikon will assess the damage and check whether it might be a warranty case.
If the warranty is acknowledged, I will get back the lens repaired in about 4 weeks.
If the warranty is not acknowledged, I will get an estimate in 2.5-3 weeks.
Now it’s time to wait…
